Christmas Tree Collection
About 20 Cubs and Scouts started the year working towards their Group Environmental Award whilst fundraising for Group Funds. The Cubs and Scouts along with a number of Leaders, members of the Exec and parents spent a couple of hours on Saturday morning collecting Christmas trees (for a small donation) from around Broookwood and transported them to the local Christmas Tree Collection point. All those involved braved the Sub-Zero temperatures abd the occassional flake of snow to collect over 60 trees and raise about £200 for group funds.
